Tasted many times. Always a pleasure. Great fruit profile, well behaved tannins. Doesn't cost a kings ransom, either. — 8 years ago
We had great expectations for this wine. Sadly, those expectations were not realized.
On the nose, we detected iron, tart cherries and redcurrants.
On the palette, it lacks the typical opulence we have come to expect from this producer. No plush, velvety texture. Mild root vegetables and burnt oak comes to mind. We are of the view that these grapes did not reach full maturity. Good acid structure, but the wine lacks cohesion. A good example, but not great.
We paid a king's ransom for this and Plumpjack still have our hostage. sniff... — 9 years ago
My first Oregon cab franc. Succulent layers of deep dark fruit with a hint of barnyard funk. Slight essence of cumin and Moroccan spices. More fruit-forward than French cab francs, but this is an interesting new world interpretation. Nice use of oak makes it feel like an older vintage. 90pts — 9 years ago
Delicious Okanagan Falls Pinot Noir. It is rich and heavy like an California Pinot. The nose is cherry and the mouth and finish are balanced and smooth. A really nice wine — 10 years ago

Bright red fruits with anise & stemmy notes on the nose, jammy but light on the palate. Want more from this producer! — 10 years ago
Wonderful, yet again. I sure hope I have lots more. Btw, it's Temperance Hill, not as listed. — 10 years ago

This utterly beautiful Auslese-style Oregon Riesling, named "Raisins" and plush as the night is long, is a remarkable American Riesling! It is sweet, but wraps the sweetness in luxe power that embraces any opulent fare. Nothing short of bravura!! — 9 years ago
crisp, with citrus notes. — 9 years ago
Love this one always — 10 years ago
