Yatir winery.
Yatir Creek 2015, a blend of Syrah, Tanant and Malbec. An interesting blend based on Syrah. Thick, purple color. Cherries and plum hints on the nose. Balanced, tanins already soft. Was a good companion to the wintery lunch we had. — 6 years ago
Binyamina winery, Jasper 2015. The Jasper demonstrates a novel and harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc grapes, harvested in vineyards in the Upper Galilee, with the addition of Viognier grapes originating in a tiny but superb vineyard located in the northern Negev.
The wine shows strong structure mineral, perfume and long finish. — 8 years ago

Midbar winery. Cabernet Sauvignon 2019. From the Israel Negev heights area, a desert wine at altitude of 800 meters.
Very young, aggressive. The fruit is the drive of the wine and its balanced nice. A food wine that supports the dish with its spicy(mild) notes. Dark purple color.
I will open the next one in a few years to see the development — 6 years ago
my first ever pinot noir.
not from full on cold climate but from the Israeli negev desert(hot days and cold nights)
nothing to compare to so I'm not very confident reviewing.
100% pinot noir
14.4% abv
red fruit with leather and barnyard hints 👃
medium body.

tart and fruity with firm but light tannins 👄

Small production giving love and care to each bottle. Huge clove and turmeric smells a bit stronger then the taste but still very well made, full enough to drink alone but even better with a good hot meal. — 12 years ago
A delicious blend from the Negev heights, near Yatir at an elevation of more than 800 metres.

This Israeli blend is drinking very nicely now, with great balance and interesting complexity.
A red wine with a new world feel, a soft mouthfeel and nice elegance.
I had it a year ago and it is much better now.

medium - 🎯
what a lovely lovely silky surprise.
blind tasting i was feeling french tenderness of pinot noir(but that would be too expensive for my wine club) or maybe gamay. but it had the italian elegant boldness. i was confused and quite shocked finding out this 💎 is local.
paired ok with 'all purpose' green sauce made from green leftovers, lime peel, olive oil and garlic (nyt cooking) mixed with pureed 🥔 and my mom's turmeric grilled white fish.
such a great wine! — 5 years ago
