Underripe wild strawberry, clove, smoke and blood orange rind, holly berry, dried rose petal and lemon threads interweaving electrically. Very lemony pink grapefruit on the palate drying immediately. Tangerine pith, chalky, with dried star fruit, bing cherry, marigold, and shadows of tar. #nebbiolo #valtellina #chiavennasca #northernitalianwines #Rainoldi #brutrosé #bubbles #sparklingwine #obscure #brut — 7 years ago

Unusual, very woody aromas that blossom into classic Rose & dried red fruit. — 8 years ago
Just had our first dinner in Varenna and it was very good, local all the way and a bit different. Fried cheese balls, cocoa and saffron pasta with porcine mushrooms and grilled lake fish. Had some Lugano white made from Trebbiano which was very good, full bodied with good acid. Had this red as well, 2012. Very nice and light, great with lake fish. Of course finished off the night with an unnamed Grappa. — 9 years ago

I guess for delectable to get vintage I should photo the back label. This is ripe but delicious with big time forest skunk and tire along with sweet reserva fruit. Still has great poise. Lovely — 10 years ago
