A good champagne. Drank kind of… young? Balanced but not graceful, hefty but a little too eager. All of the flavor was BOOM, right up front, and it was more green apple rind than anything. Good - maybe not my thing. — 5 years ago
Last night (NYE). Good stuff. Not overly fruity and not dry. Nice balance. — 6 years ago

One of my faves. The unique iodine taste of a Spanish rioja paired beautifully with the duck. Wow. — 10 months ago
Blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Bright dark garnet color. Aromas of red and black fruit, black licorice and light oak. Same fruits (very ripe) on the pallet with hints of wet loamy soil and basil. Plump and rich. Silky tannins. Pleasant surprise. Solid QPR. — 4 years ago
Great wine especially for the price — 6 years ago
Fruity and lyrical. Nice with pesto and tomato pasta. Would be good in its own too. — 7 years ago

I really like this champagne. Crisp, fresh, certain aroma but not too rich. Good for matching with dishes. Not destruct the foods. Want to drink this as daily champagne. — 12 years ago
Ripe peach and grapefruit with a hint of apricot. On the first night the sweetness dominated (we mainly drink dry Riesling). This was 8.5% ABV with plenty of residual sugar, but on the 2nd night not tasting as sweet. Purity verging on crystalline. Medium plus palate intensity. A class act typical of JJ PRUM. I’m not sure if I have chosen the right title here. There was nothing “Trocken” (Dry) about this Riesling. — a year ago
Green apple, tangerine, and kiwi. Light semi sweet with balanced acidity. — 4 years ago
Green apple, tangerine, and lemon zest with good acidity and hints of mineral. My husband loved it! — 6 years ago

Aroma of dried cherries, olives sand herbs. Flavor is snappy and bright. But rich too. Tremendously long on the finish. — 10 years ago
The dryness, tannins & acidity of this wine paired well with braised short ribs. The ribs were accompanied by polenta & salad with Meyer Lemon vinaigrette. Very important pairing note - balancing acidity to cut richness but still give a pleasant mouth - feel. 2006 vintage - Floral notes weren't dominant for us. — 10 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of mostly Tempranillo with about equal amounts of Garnacho, Graciano and Manzuelo, deep Ruby with a graceful bouquet of berry fruits, cigar box spice with fresh earthy tones, a traditional Rioja, still reticent. On the silky smooth palate, elegant with layers of flavors of ripe blackberry and cherry, tobacco, smoky cedar, dark fruit, vanilla spice, very well balanced with fine soft tannins and a clean structure ending with a nice long chalky earthy character. Delicious! — 10 months ago
