Francisco is the daughter and the new vineyards and wine are named for her. These were planted between 2004 and 2007, the first vintage was 2011. There are 5 different verticals planted. They are one of the 5 wineries part of the "Douro Boys".

Dark ruby red core with red edges. Beautiful nose, medium to full bodied, elegant red fruits, cherry, sauve tannins, with good acidity, long and persistent vintage. Classy wine. — 12 years ago

Another rare Douro Beauty, this is harder to find than most cult wines and unicorns! Beautifully expressive of place, with more red fruits and a little more opulence than the Rio. An exceptional wine and on my list of must finds. — 9 years ago
