Excellent dry Kelly and I in Lisbon. — 11 years ago
Light, dry and joyfully effervescent. More yellow colored than average. This Vinho Verde is almost dry Riesling like on its initial attack. Soft petroleum, racy acidity, and driven by its minerality, citrus blossoms, and crisp green apple notes. The finish is clean and packed with Asian pears. — 11 years ago
Very nice 20 year tawny. Mouth filling with excellent profile throughout. Had at Paul Bocuse. — 11 years ago
So much black fruit and tea! Surprisingly youthful and delicious! — 11 years ago
Amazing and extra smooth! — 12 years ago
This is embarrassing - I admit I'm not a big Port fan! But I now realise I adore the Tawny variety! Right that's out of the way, this is seriously good stuff, pronounced, woody, toffeed, caramel, dried fruits and nutty, with the addition of dried figs and raisins coming forth on the palate. Sweet with nice acidity but seriously powerful with 21% abv — 11 years ago
Perfect for warm weather. Berries, tart, effervescent. — 11 years ago

Pairing it up with some Moroccan lamb with tomato and eggplant. Spicy, black fruits on the palate with some olive and bitter herbal accents. Should be a nice foil for the tagine. — 11 years ago
