This was a ½ bottle that I paid $12.95 back in the day. This had some jammy sweet caramel notes. It was pleasant to drink with dessert but it was its time.

The cork came out with some cracks but whole. Decanted at around 6 PM in a to-go bottle and happy I did, there was a ton of sediment. Drank at about 11 PM with NYE Dinner at Anthony’s in HH.

Brought back from winery. Cork fell apart but no issues. Blueberry coffee nose with bursting fruit and subtle tannins and vanilla. . Great mouthful. Would rate higher if less oak taste but delicious. WS said through 2022 but not over hill. — a year ago

Intense, deep, powerful but incredibly approachable red blend from the Douro River, a red blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This combination will please all styles of wine drinkers. The flavors of red compote and a hint of baked red cherry pie and a@touch of toast and vainilla provides a wonderful mouthfeel. Ruby in color and cloudy, with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

Sweet nose with cedar, vanilla, honey and chocolates.

Sweet on the palate with black fruits, tobacco, cereal, vanilla, licorice, light wood, chocolates, coffee, light cola and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.

This 29 year old is still drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced and elegant. Rich and fruit forward.

I don't see it getting any better from this point on. Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Delicious right out of the bottle, and a gorgeous dessert wine.

Interesting red blend that features the Baga (85%) grape. Blended with Touriga National (15%). Very dark color but lighter in body than I would have expected. Bright and jammy red fruit aromas and flavors with hints of prunes and dark chocolate. Solid acidity and very long finish. Moderate finish and tannins. In a very good place right now.
