Ever since I first tasted the 98 point Stonessence from this producer at the WS show, I have been on a quest for their wines. Finally I have found them after 5 months.
The nose on this wine is signature of this producer. Huge floral briary cranberry and raspberry as if it was transformed into a perfume by Dolce & Gabbana. Smelling the glass is beyond a requirement as you will enjoy the aromatics more than the wine. Tremendously delicate on the palate with juicy berries, lush velvet texture, hints of sugar cookies and lavender. As Beautiful and elusive as an alluring woman who makes deep eye contact before disappearing into a sea of strangers. — 8 years ago
Cherry bomb on the nose and first taste. Nice oak undertones. Another good wine in my taste quest of CA central coast cabs. — 8 years ago

Bought at Chambers st wines, part of my quest for full bodied whites. Honey, toast, green apple and pear. Yummy, but also a little too heavy on the palate. — 10 years ago
Glass pour at some of #seattle's higher end restaurants. To be nameless. Bold, inky...huh!?! Ppm mars has come to Oregon. Wow! Move over Quest, I've found my new favorite wine from Oregon $24 / 95pts Acme206 — 10 years ago
Not bad at all in the quest to find decent burg at a decent price. Quite fruity, but still in a refined way. Bit thin perhaps. — 7 years ago
This H&M Hoffer Gruner Veltliner hit the mark yesterday as I moved through tastings of a Sancerre, Sav Blanc and Alsatian Pinot Blanc. The Gruner Veltliner took the prize! Beautiful, bright acidity with a smooth finish. Day bright, clear color and medium plus viscosity. Underripe fruit, lemon grass, dry and so refreshing! In my quest for dry, white wines of the world, this one has moved high up on my list! — 8 years ago
Test 1 in Pink wine quest. Nice and light, no syrupy grenadine-ish flaves. I think it was like $10? — 8 years ago
Since attending Fete le Vin, bordeaux 2008, my appreciation for rose has changed. That year at the festival there were plenty of rose's represented. It was an embrace by the french of something that they seem to generally consider not good. Returning stateside, my quest for the perfect rose endes with this "celebrity" wine. — 9 years ago
On the quest for an affordable buttery Chardonnay, this definitely did not disappoint. — 9 years ago

Straw colored, full no quest on the nose with a dry finish, not too much acidity, lovely. — 8 years ago
First experience with Julian Haart.....simple appellation wine was amazingly pure & expressive! New quest to dig into this producer more, thank @vomBoden — 8 years ago
Pop that screw top, drop it in a decanter, turbo twirl, let set x10 minutes, then go for it - classic Gamay from Beaujolais with fertile earth showing smokey red and black fruit with light effervescence lightly coating all the taste receptors then twisting, turning, clinging before it slips down one's throat thereafter hanging front, sides, and back begging for another swig and associated mind quest to more finely define its groovy self😎 Loving this juice with some olives, almonds Ossau Iratty and Pico..🍷 Do this wine (great with Thanksgiving turkey) and only 12% alcohol; so do it at least x2😎 — 8 years ago
I have at last found it.....been on a quest to find a Californian Sauvignon Blanc to rival the top SB's from New Zealand, South Africa and The Loire.....
Well done Soliste - I've searched and waited long and hard for this - well worth it! :)
Structured, depth, balanced acidity and fruit - Didier would be proud :) — 9 years ago
My quest for the green meanies and lady bug skeletons continues unsuccessfully... I did find a little sur maturité though. Hmmm — 10 years ago

A great discovery in the continuing quest for highly flavored but lighter bodied reds. Firm flavors, graphite, earth, cool blue fruits, structured coming more from the acidity then from tannins, and no sweetness in the fruit or on the palate at all. — 7 years ago
