I'm on a Clos de Gat run. After an impressive 2003 Harel Cabernet and a disappointing, disjointed 2009 Harel Merlot, this 2008 Syrah shines. It drives a nice middle road between floral, peppery Syrah and brawny, leathery Shiraz, with nice berry fruit, a meaty spiciness and savoury, resolved tannins. I wouldn't hold this much further but it delivers an excellent glass right now. — 8 years ago

Lovely wine. Unusual density for a Santenay; silky texture marked by dark fruit and violets; and a long, expressive finish. — 7 years ago
Really solid Morgon. Great value. — 6 years ago
Excellent, fuller and riper than typical but high acidity and very high minerality. Authentic aromas, full of life — 6 years ago
