Perfect way to start of #WAWINEMONTH with this bottle from Full Pull Wines. Deep ruby red in appearance. Dark spices on the nose with candied blackcherries, cinnamon, and a little herbal. Seems to have closed down a bit since last time. Medium plus tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Dry on the palate with black currants, cassis, sweet spices and dried herbs. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027. (91+) — 7 years ago
Better than Priscilla queen of the dessert . Power and depth with incredible refinement. Darker and deeper than I'd usually expect. wines have a herbaciousness that I find compelling. — 8 years ago
Always a good bottle for me. Been counting and already had 5 bottle of this great value wine from the queen of burgundy. Still holding up good with smooth and elegant mouthfeel. The wine keep evolving after each pour. There is still fruit, spice, core sweetness and overall silkyness. As usual the cork is mouldy — 9 years ago

A wine made for the queen? How could it not be good? — 10 years ago
E Puddara Etna Bianco 2011. What a great wine. Showing like an apricot juice that was infused with lemon juice tonight. Heavier palate weight than I recall but lifted with bright chalky aromatics. Carricante the way it was meant to be, I surmise. Not thin and hot like others I've sampled, even if at 14% this it pulls it off effortlessly like a teen beauty queen — 11 years ago
Leathery but remains fresh. Dried cherry and cranberry. Superb power and depth. A cellar queen — 11 years ago

Not bad for a cheap wine. — 7 years ago
Full disclosure I am not a vodka drinker but on a cold snowy night in the Canadian Rockies what are a bunch of Canadians going to do but head to the Lizard Creek Lodge“Ice Bar” and enjoy vodka from Kazakhstan, Poland and Russia. I wish that I knew enough about vodka to rate this one from Kazakhstan so let’s just say it was fun. Cheers 🌬 — 7 years ago

86 is a great vintage and built to make great old bones. Still so vibrant and youthful. This 86 was intoxicating! A lot more structure and backbone than other Margaux. The texture was round and full bodied but with that firm edge that lets you know this wine was a Queen. Great purity of cassis flavors with layers of complexity expressed by floral, mineral and truffle notes. An extraordinary long precise finish. — 11 years ago

Very Oregonish. Black Cherry, lip smacking. First bottle I opened was flawed. Not corked, just meh. — 7 years ago
