Recent visit to Sonoma (Oct 2014). Lynmar knows how to do Pinot Noir. All the pinots we tasted were great and I would be happy to drink on any given day. Quail Hill was one of the better ones. — 12 years ago

Found my old wine journal and decided to start using it again, beginning with this great wine. Aromas of rhubarb, roses, and red fruit, with a wet granite note. Flavors of strawberry, cranberry, more granite, with a very long finish. I wonder if there is Pinot Noir in the blend, because this wine doesn't act like Syrah, but whatever the case may be, it's stunning. — 11 years ago
