The pumpkin is not overwhelming, and is balanced by the strong stout flavor and moderate hops. Try it. — 9 years ago
First drinkable pumpkin ale of the season. It's more than drinkable if you chug it. — 9 years ago
Easy to drink lager with strong notes of pumpkin pie, but not overbearing. Great if you like pumpkin flavor. — 9 years ago

Nice flavor, very spicy where you can taste the claimed fruits spices and pumpkin, with what I think of as a sweet full aftertaste of what seems like apricots — 11 years ago
Bottled 8/1/2006. First year... And still alive. So amazing. — 8 years ago
Burning pine nettle. Juniper, cinnamon, allspice. Headlong tumble into a briar patch of allspice, mint, star anise, peppercorn, gunpowder tea, valerian root, sarsaparilla, tin can, juniper revisited, green dye. Burly offering. Tastes like a river full of cyborg Devils. #weyerbacher #pumpkinbeer #pumpkin #imperialpumpkin — 9 years ago
This is good for a pumpkin beer. Not too overpowering. — 9 years ago
Collaboration with Anchorage Brewing. Refreshing, light, and easily quaffed on a fine afternoon. Luscious notes of grapefruit entwined with hops and pepper corn. Wish I lived next to Jolly Pumpkin. Let me rephrase: Wish they would move Jolly Pumpkin next to my house in California. — 9 years ago
Less pumpkin and sweet spice than the usual fare. Malty goodness though — 9 years ago

This is a complex, balanced, and really delicious beverage. I'm very proud of how far we've come as a beer-producing nation. — 10 years ago
You can really taste the pumpkin and spices, very nice. Light and not too bold but a bit of a bitter aftertaste, not too bad tho. — 11 years ago

Best seasonal beer I've ever had. — 9 years ago
Another terrific beer from Jolly Pumpkin. Definitely improves with some time in the glass; much better on tap at the brewpub in Ann Arbor. Doesn't have the depth of the La Roja (which is by far my favorite JP), but still a great beer. — 9 years ago
Very good pumpkin Brown Ale. Cinnamon not overpowering. Would definitely buy again — 9 years ago
Very nicely blended and surprisingly soft pumpkin finish, with a hint of bourbon. 10% alchy. — 10 years ago

Bright citrus and tropical fruit - orange, grapefruit, pineapple. Also Sauv Blanc cat pee, white peppercorn, coriander. Has the house brett funk flavors, but very well integrated to enhance the fruit, not so much rusty and funky. High acidity but not overly so. Overall, a great American sour, and one of Anchorage's best. Very light body, dry. Extremely drinkable. — 10 years ago
Love the cranberry kick in this. — 11 years ago
