Dark cherries, prune, black figs, hint of pork sausage on the nose. Med p body, med p acid, med p intensity, med tannin(i can feel very little tannins), dark licorice, alcohol on the first palate followed by hint of astringency and bitterness.
Drunk with typical pugliese dish(antipasti, ricotta, orchiette etc...). 14.5%abv, good for people who are looking for no tannin, high alcohol, bitter(dark fruit) wines. Maybe Argentina malbec drinkers? — 9 years ago
Beautifully deep, vibrant, great example of Pugliese rosato and decisively Adriatic/Salentino. Love the balance between Negroamaro & Montepulciano. — 10 years ago

Currant, vanilla and cherry sour patch kids. Consumed within 1hr of opening, would like to explore how this develops over a longer decant. Enjoyed with a large Pugliese meal — 10 years ago
Truly a Pugliese classic. — 10 years ago
A SuperTuscan, half Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet, this wine is a food-friendly fruit bomb, full of cherries, plums, and blueberries, and a touch of chocolate in the finish. Paired nicely with steamed artichokes, sautéed spinach with garlic, mushroom ravioli with pesto, and pugliese with Camembert. — 11 years ago

I'm not usually a big fan of merlot but this one suprised me. Black fruits on the nose. Blackberry and blueberry dominant with medium acidity and firm tannins. I actually like this one, nice. — 9 years ago
A sorpresa questo ottimo pugliese si abbina alla perfezione col risotto alla milanese. :) E anche con i pomodori ripieni che sono venuti dopo. Caldo e vellutato in bocca. — 10 years ago
Harmonious, plum, fruity, yet mineral, a true Pugliese red. — 10 years ago
