Thick, dense, heavy, dry fruit. Good, clean, but not terribly versitile. Good that it was a dessert pairing. Will try again. — 8 years ago
For a healer wine, this is pretty smooth. Had a fruity finish. — 9 years ago
Peppery leather, wild dark berries and a touch of cherry, rounded off with surprisingly succulent, dry charcoal finish. — 9 years ago
Nice wine, I can totally see the ties to Zinfandel. Bramble, berry, clove, med bodied mouth with rich finish. — 10 years ago
Doesn't even need an aerator - delicious!! Definitely buy again. — 11 years ago
I’m quite shocked at the ratings of this, solid bottle of wine. Nice fruity red but not jammy. Nice structure. 6 bucks at TJs. — 8 years ago
Right after opening, it seems like an alcohol bomb on the nose. Not to fail. Just needs 10 minutes and it's open to big red fruit, slight oak, tart cherry, and great acid. They're killing it out there. — 8 years ago
Beatuful full rounded finish from the first sip — 9 years ago
Enjoying with some homemade pizzas tonight. Quite smooth, mellow oak, and bursting with fruit. Definitely a fun wine to drink! — 9 years ago
Really fun. Savory funky spicy side of the grape. Nice acids. — 10 years ago

Spanish Vermut. No me jodas, tio! — 11 years ago
Lovely dark and fruity. Great with steak and pork. I love the mixture of the negromaro grape and primitivo grape. — 8 years ago
Love love love this wine! So fruity and round, and not tannic. I just wish they shipped to France! I always buy a few bottles when I am visiting California. Fantastic wine at a reasonable price for the quality. — 8 years ago
I drank this after using an aerator. Immediately scent of braised beef and fresh rubber on the nose. Meaty flavor on the way down. Truly is best wine under $5 at TJ's — 8 years ago
