Was looking at my wine cellar and realized had a few bottles almost past their prime. Surprised Julie and are enjoying a great night after taking the kids to the ice festival !!! — 7 years ago
Clear deep orange in the glass. Big bosomy nose of white flowers and candied orange peel. Full rich body with medium plus acidity. Lilies and orange peel lead on the palate. Medium finish with a hint of wet stone. Great on its own, but lives for food. — 8 years ago

Given for our 2015 birthdays from Sabine and Maarten with the 2005. Opened 1/2/2016 at kalaloch -did quasi vertical tasting. Nose: berry, smoke, nut, strawberry-rhubarb pie, vanilla. Taste: SPICY, dark cherry, wood smoke, pine. Very full but not a heavy finish. May be the smokey-est wine we have ever tasted. (Would be excellent with steak!) — 8 years ago

The only Pinot Noir made with Napa fruit better than Brick and Mortar's Cougar Rock Pinot is this wine right here. complex, beguiling, nuanced and mysterious are some of the endless descriptors that can be used to describe this beautiful Spring Mountain Pinot. Can't wait to taste this in another 5 years or so, as it is destined for greatness. — 8 years ago
Can't have just one glass. — 8 years ago
By far the best Malbec I've had. If you have to drink one this may be it. That being said Malbec belongs to beef and chimmichurri. This only had beef. — 9 years ago
