Ermes Pavese From Magnum. Thee most beautiful sight I've visited. Steeply terraced Prie Blanc vineyards near Mt. Blanc. Reduced upon opening but fleshed out and became pure and pristine. Special stuff. — 11 years ago

Tip-toes in with a little kumquat and lemon blossom on the nose, and then, WOW... delivers huge on taste. Beautiful and dry and elegant and great even acidity and lemony. This reminds me of the Morgex Prie Blanc from Ermes Pavese, but with some pineapple also layered in there, and more palate weight. Can't wait for this to age! Impressive purity of fruit. Five minute finish. Great viscosity and brightness. — 10 years ago
