From my home town... best vintage in my lifetime. — 12 years ago
Had this one again on New Years Eve 2014. Still going strong, opulent berry fruit, smooth tannins and just the right amount of oak.
Thanksgiving 2018, our last bottle - ruby color, still vibrant fruit, showing its age gracefully. Smooth, some acidity left to hold it up, tannins fully integrated. Little heat despite its 16% ABV.
