Nose has a really nice full fruit sent. The fruit that jumps out at you is raspberry, a very rich, juicy raspberry. There is also a mild oak backing mixed in with dark chocolate (The chocolate is easier to spot on the finish). The finish has a quality spice that lingers long after. I did expect a bit more spice from an old vine as old as these, but the long lasting spice makes up for it. The wine is very smooth from start to finish and sits right on the light to medium line. For anyone looking for a fruit forward Zin with limited oak and medium spice, this is a very good choice. A good comparison to this would be Predator Zin (which is excellent). — 10 years ago

Its a prettty prettty pretttty nice! Good tannin to match the plummy spice notes that have a good acidity from the c/f pretty stellar. Black abyss. Love, The firm tannin backing delivers but has finesse as well. It is gripping and very solid. Had years ahead of yet but I'm a predator. — 10 years ago
