One of my favourites at the moment, not a port finish, spent a full 11 years in port casks. Peat (this is a peated Springbank) and port doesn't always work, but here it works well. Quite intense peat and port flavours at 51%, excellent. — 9 years ago

1998 California port. I'm impressed. — 10 years ago
Rich Amber colour. Sherry & Port notes, but much less sticky. Delightfully rich. Works well as a drinkalone or as a dessert wine. — 11 years ago
Extremely sweet dessert wine, with a good docile profile to back it up. A great surprise to end a great evening with. — 8 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is a '99 Prager Madeline Late Harvest Riesling. Happy Holy Holidays. Butterscotch, honeycomb, rum-soaked apricot, with a floral character rounding out the margins. Purchased on a trip to the winery on a very rainy day...fifteen years ago. — 8 years ago

Best to date.. Merry Christmas to me. From my birth givers! — 11 years ago
Nutty, orange rind, and chocolate. M+ acid and M sweetness. M+ intensity. On the palate, raisin, dried fruit, cherry, caramel and orange. Long finish. — 8 years ago
Big Break 2019 drinking very well Sep 2014 - tannins rounding, still big mouth feel. Candied blackberry, chocolate, a little licorice; a slightly stemmy note on finish not unpleasant. Stands up to flavorful food like pasta, pizza, maybe sausage or pot roast; but works well on its own almost like a Port even though no sugar. Good value. — 10 years ago
Sweet, complex ... Cherry, blueberries, strawberries. , — 11 years ago

Cool-climate Durif?!!? Conventional wisdom says it just shouldn't work. Aromas of blackberries, dark plums, leather and spice. The palate is chock full of ripe black fruits and supple ripe tannins. While it has body, it doesn't pack the alcohol heat normally found in Aussie Durif. In a few words, in this case, it just works! — 8 years ago
