Absolutely brilliant. Clear cut bouquet and tannins. No frills, honest and easy accessible. Deep flavorers of berries. — 7 years ago
Excellent! Medium body, nice fruit. Glad we took this recommendation at Zarzuela! — 7 years ago

Decanted and waited 2 hours for this tightly wound up boy to turn into a gracious gentleman. A lot of blueberries and hickory smoke — 9 years ago
Good Tempranillo with Repsol. — 9 years ago
Tuoksussa vahvaa tammea. Maku nahkainen, vahvasti tanniininen ja lämmittävä. Alkoholi ei tule selvästi läpi vaikka kyseessä 15 % pullote. — 10 years ago
Super bone dry. Has a pear skin and like a cherry pit brightness. The excellence of manzanilla personified — 4 years ago

Was highly skeptical of trying a cheap Texas wine, but was pleasantly surprised. Albariño is one of my favorite white grape varietals, and after learning that Spanish and Portuguese grapes do particularly well in the Texas climate thought I’d give it a shot. Crisp, very refreshing, Happy 4th! — 6 years ago
Very nice blend. Super good for a cheapo twist top. Will buy again — 7 years ago
Chocolate, blueberry, pepper. Exquisite. — 8 years ago
One of a kind. Not likely to see very much of this jewel in the future. — 8 years ago
I really enjoy the acid but I wish the nose backed up the wine...still a nice champagne...id go back.... — 9 years ago
v2001. A bit of Brett, initially, but that dissipated about 30 min after opening, which allowed aromas of lavender, leather and black fruit to shine. Black cherry, roasted meat, and juicy acidity on the palate, and a great finish. I really can't relate to the low ratings some have given this wine. A good, moderately aged Rioja at $35? Yes, yes it is. — 9 years ago
Fabulous summer wine. Had in Ibiza, Spain. — 10 years ago

spicy, grabby, woody, everything i like in a wine — 7 years ago
A: Dark red with cherry reflections. Clean and nice. 4/5
S: Equilibrated smell, some sourness and sweetness, although it follows the sourness a bit more. A bit of alcohol and cherry. 3.75/5
T: The taste is pleasant. It has a nice equilibrium between sweetness and sourness, although I believe its closer to sour wines. A little alcohol taste, and some wood (close to cork) 3.75/5
F: The feeling is nice, pleasant for an everyday wine. 3.75/5
O: Very nice, we can consider buying it again. 3.75/5 — 9 years ago
Lovely and smooth. I prefer to drink it on it's own rather than with food. — 9 years ago

2018 was the very first vintage for this young French - Colombian couple in Albé (the only mountainous zone in Alsace) and the results are impressive. This is their high end Pinot Gris from the Steinacker vineyard at over 400 meters of altitude on schistuous soils. A blend of 3 different vinification techniques (stainless steel, oak and amphora) that has spent 9 months on the lees. Beautiful nose of white peach and flowers, with an uncommon minerality. Concentrated and juicy with real depth and impressive length, this is the most exciting Pinot Gris I have tasted in a long time from a region where this grape is way too often characterised by excessive residual sugar. Abv. 14,5 %. — 4 years ago
