Basically the house brand at Il Pozzo, the bottle in-restaurant was like $22. Drinks fantastically; beautiful ripe fruit, soft tannins, just a happy happy wine. — 10 years ago
Nice Barbera with sour cherry notes — 10 years ago
Sapido ed elegante, ha i profumi tipici dello chardonnay ma anche di agrumi e erbe aromatiche.

Last evening at Il Pozzo. Epitomized Sangiovese: Cherry, flowers, surprisingly feisty tannins, and some dust. A joyous partner for our Bistecca alla Fiorentina. — 10 years ago
Great Chianti. One of the better ones — 10 years ago

Tom Casagrande
A specialty dessert wine from the area in Italy where my grandparents were born. It's a mixture of reduced fermented sour cherry fruit and local Lacrima wine. Nose is sweet and yeasty and mossy. In the mouth, it's got vibrant, zingy and ripe cherry syrup fruit with a cheese rind element and full body. The acidity carries the unique sweetness. — 8 years ago
