Family party, so truncated notes. This is very unique. Nose has bright sugar plums (yes), and a resinous warm caramel note. Rich, sweet, but balanced with nice acids, it finishes long and pure. Really such a different wine you can’t relate it to anything else. The grape is so unique in its traditional form. As an after dinner wine this was so interesting.

A specialty dessert wine from the area in Italy where my grandparents were born. It's a mixture of reduced fermented sour cherry fruit and local Lacrima wine. Nose is sweet and yeasty and mossy. In the mouth, it's got vibrant, zingy and ripe cherry syrup fruit with a cheese rind element and full body. The acidity carries the unique sweetness. — 8 years ago

В La Fenice Squinzano Негроамаро - основной компонент, Мальвазия лишь дополняет, имхо. К тому же, оно было полусладкое. Сабж всеми характерными признаками обладает, но без дополнительной сладости. Очень классно!

Вторую пили с другом, с его слов, в сравнении с La Fenice Squinzano, сабж менее насыщенный. Имхо, это из-за того, что Squinzano полусухое, плюс Мальвазия в бленде влияет.
