Dec 14, 2016. Top Ten "Bubbles" tasting. Whoa! 34% Chardonnay,33% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunière. Yummy — 8 years ago
Heres the funk I am looking for! Wet wool hits you in the face, while underripe green pear, beeswax, jalapeño skin, and crushed macadamia and bitter almond add a lovely nutty element. Richer mouthfeel with m+ body for a Sancerre, it's palate coating and gives off great texture. The acidity is not the typical punch that I'm used to but it finishes elegant and well rounded. Not your typical Sancerre but really lovely none the less. — 9 years ago

2013 vintage Drinking very nicely right now. Subtle fruit, medium funk. — 8 years ago
I am typically not the biggest fan of Sancerres. They usually have a grassy not to them that just doesn't strike me. This example did not have that tasting note at all thankfully. Straw yellow in color with a hint of green. Lots of fruit and flowers on the nose. Rich palate for this grape. Lovely minerality that gives it a wonderful finish. — 8 years ago
Exquisite wine, sav blanc continues to blow my mind! — 8 years ago
Lemon, mineral, pear, lemongrass, hay as it opens, and a waxy feel on the tongue with medium plus acidity. Absolutely beautiful. — 9 years ago

Just delicious on this outrageously hot evening. Pristinely pure strawberry and cherry fruit on the nose, with a fair whack of crushed rock. Crisp and flavorful in the mouth, with good intensity and freshness. Good acids and an attractive micro-note of bitterness at the tail end. IMHO, well-made Sancerre rose is the pinnacle of rose. — 10 months ago
