Why does this Vermentino have such a relatively low rating, 8.5, as of this tasting? This tastes like a hybrid of Chardonnay and Sancerre. Perhaps it's too friendly, too drinkable. Not too much for me. — 9 years ago

A real two-buck chuck (or 2€ in this case) it has the slightly fumed flavor most cheap wines do but it's not overpowering and it doesn't linger so I can't really complain. A good choice for a bad day and a broke wallet. — 13 years ago

1998 vintage on Dec 23, 2017 at Mucca Osteria (from Bob’s cellar purchased at K&L). Perfectly cellared. Rich and full bodied Barolo with mature complexity. Will age for several more years but ready to drink now. Preceded by Vigneti Massa Derthona and Giuseppe Cortese Rabajá 2012. — 8 years ago
