Fun wine. Strawberries. Great balance. — 7 years ago
I’d like to know what Edgar Alan Poe has to say about this bold and impressive wine. Smoky and peppery with a nice, dry finish. We are enjoying this while nibbling on dry cheese and putting together Thanksgiving dinner. — 9 years ago
Brambly wild fruit on the nose. Raspberry, blackberry definitely with some fruit concentration. A wild, sage, rosemary element that darkens this otherwise bright wine in a good way. Like Poe wouldn't be a legend without the darkness — 9 years ago

Dark beauty. I'm partial to this wine because I love all things Edgar Allan Poe. Aromas of savory, rounded fruit. Super delicious berry velvety opulence and seductive through the finish. 9.8 when you consider the value and everything going for this 100% Syrah. — 11 years ago

Nicely aged Marin County Pinot. No need to hurry drinking these. — 8 years ago
Incredibly balanced with just a touch of new oak to balance the mouthwatering acidity. Great stuff. — 9 years ago
MS Poe crushed it with this one. Really nice. Smoke, lead, dark fruits, licorice, mineral, which all sounds quite heavy....which this wine is not. — 9 years ago
Really liked - more medium to full bodied with some funkiness — 11 years ago

Smells of candied apricot, dried fig, and Smokey edges.
Medium bodied, yet towards the heavier side, deep Smokey fruits, tabac, black cherry rolling around in the hay with some garrique and acidity. Dark tones linger on like a good old fashioned Edgar Allen Poe story.. — 6 years ago
