Brought back from Italy in 2018. This is an incredible wine..... — 7 years ago
Very bright wine with power character. It is fantastic wine with notes of dark fruites and berries, pepper and cinnamon, chocolate and coffee, wet earth and minerals. Light note of honey in aftertaste. — 8 years ago
Deep color. Floral and earthy. Black cherry. Medium plus tannin. — 8 years ago
The more I drink it ... The better — 8 years ago
This 20 year old wine is surprisingly accessible upon opening but evolves in a couple of hours where it really expresses its complex aromas and velvety tannins. Intense barrel smoke, tobacco, black cherry and leather on the nose. Exceptionally balanced, especially as it opens up. This wine is the text book definition of an aged Brunello - full bodied, smooth, luscious, bold, rich black fruit flavor. Finishes nice... lasting structure. This wine is at it's peak, enjoy it now, as I do. — 9 years ago

Perfect for a Texas summer. Fruity but not sweet. A bit of spice to it. Some alcohol hit. — 10 years ago
Purple colour, flowery mure nose with smokey minerality. Delicated acidity, ripe tannins, dark fruit tones, silky structure and excellent balance and smooth long finish with liqurice tones. 91p. — 11 years ago

Pleasant, easy to drink. — 9 years ago
Great at first, extremely complex. Flavors of barbecue sauce, cedar, leather, wood, tobacco and mint. After about an hour the mint flavor became extremely bitter making the wine less enjoyable. — 10 years ago
It was very smooth and spicy from start to finish. My friends very impressed. 9.5 — 11 years ago
More blue fruit then most d'asti but still slate stone. — 6 years ago

Shows that Prosecco can be as delicious as any sparkling wine without trying to be anything but what it is: rivetingly fresh and lively with lots of Meyer lemon and saline notes. — 8 years ago
Good food wine. Very jammy and fruit forward red. Italian Sangio with some Merlot. — 9 years ago
This wine is a good stepping-stone from sweet wines to something more traditional. — 9 years ago
Sangio from Tuscany purchased at Wine Club in SF as part of pre-travel research. At $20, this is one of the Tuscans we've liked best thus far. — 10 years ago
