yummy red w Patrick Planeta at The Newbury in Boston. Perfect red for November night — not too full or thick and not too light. Perfect! — 2 years ago

— 5 years ago
The sommelier at La Foresteria Planeta Estate said I should try. Wow who would think an Etna wine could do this. Amazing fruits but with that Sicilian bite. Just wow. — 8 months ago
Planeta tasting!!! Very nice!!! A nice blend that gets u both red and dark fruits. Nice finish. — 2 years ago
If you find the Nero Davola too heavy, this one is for you. A Sicilian red that has the earthy qualities that Etna provides, but so much lighter than other reds from the region. This has hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Very light cherry on the finish. Good warm weather trattoria wine. — 2 years ago
Really nice representation of Sicilian wine. Reminiscent of Shiraz with fruity clean notes of raspberry and blackberry and low acidity. — 3 years ago
Made from Nerello Mascalese grapes, medium Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and smoky notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and red plum with pepper spice, burnt toast and herbs. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and smoky character. Drinking well now and should over next couple years. — a year ago
Tastes like fall and smells enchanting. That also might be because we are enjoying it at our beautiful hotel in Rome! ❤️ — 3 years ago
Loved this. Easy to drink. Very little tannin and finished clean. — 4 years ago
And this is a real surprise. The wine is fresh with very elegant citrus finish. And an apple, a lime and some wet stone note. Great with a cheesecake. — 5 years ago
Excellent. Reminds me of a Sauternes because of the great balance between sweetness and acidity, the brightness and the complexity of the various fruit and nut flavors running throughout. — 6 years ago
