Trains wine! Raspberry followed by currant with a hint of spice. Clean smooth finish- paired with homemade pizza very well. — 12 years ago
2009 was better, but the 2010 is good as well. The port was excellent as well. — 13 years ago
Finally starting to mellow a bit. Lovely, and playing the role of a 20yr port this evening. — 11 years ago
Dry and good with pizza — 11 years ago
Thank you Bill Steele for this gift. I am not an expert when it comes to Port. But this Texas Tawny was the perfect ending to a pizza/wine evening. It started a bit raisiny, but opened into a caramel syrup that lingered for minutes. Would be shocked if Delectable has this in their database. Only way to get it is by knowing Mr. Fuqua (a Dallas garage wine creator). Cheers! — 12 years ago
This starts out with a tight knit nose of red fruit, mint, and a hint of woodsmoke. Later, aromas intensified into darker red fruit. Flavors offer up dark reds, licorice, spice, silky tannin, and a spear of acidity. Paired awesome with tonite's pizza. One more bottle left but will need more for sure. — 11 years ago
Rich chocolate dessert wine. Underlying port is rich and fruit laden with a great chocolate flavoring. — 11 years ago
A nice Okanagan port. Sweet, but not overpowering, very nice for dessert after a nice seafood dinner. — 13 years ago
