Greeny gold. Musky peach, old oak wardrobe, dry, lively acidity, smooth ripe fruit on palate, long lingering finish. A venerable old Savagnin with class. — 12 years ago
I really enjoyed the strong stinky smell of this wine. I let it sit out for about five minutes and drank it; and, it tasted splendid. If it stayed out longer, I think it would have gone bad. The cork broke down; so, I had to be extremely creative in opening this bottle. It held up very well through all the years -- the wine was still above the shoulders. — 12 years ago
Used to have two cases of this. Now just 7 bottles left. Bummer. Drinking wonderfully now. — 13 years ago
