Le Ginglet Arbois Pupillin Trousseau 2016

Expected this to be at least a little developed, but nope. Which was nice, not looking for tertiary notes in thise wine. Light and refreshing. — a month ago

Mouton Rothschild For Philippine Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1988

Nearing its end of life but still full of vigor and verve! Beautiful nose, aromatics on the palette, and a reasonable finish. Tannins are in the back with cedar the most apparent note on the front. — a month ago

Cornas Syrah 2016

Smokey, fruity and spicy with very refined acidity. We all enjoyed this and it went well with heavy food...a bit price — 3 months ago

Pommard Pinot Noir 2015

At its prime. I would not keep this any longer. Touch oxidation out of the gate. Plenty of tannins left but fruit on the downside. Quite dusty, orange zest mostly. Hint plums. Crushed marble. Hint celery. Very tart cranberries. I was quite excited about the other bottle i popped this year. This one is not as good. — 2 months ago

I have back vintages to 2009. They started in 2008. 2016 is an especially good vintage. I will see if i have enough time to visit the tiny winery in May and do a barrel tasting. The place is hard to find - even for someone who comes from this area. More recently their whites which tend to be funky are catching up.

Mouton Cadet Red Bordeaux Blend 2023

Great bottle drunk with cheese and later on chocolate. Easy to drink for a Bordeaux — 2 days ago

Château Mouton Rothschild Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2002

So much more open and accessible than any Mouton’s I’ve had from either the 90’s or 00’s. Such a sleeper vintage! Silky, elegant, structured, great length, continued to evolve in the glass. Top notch Bordeaux. — a month ago
