Faboulus PG. luscious, complex and still young. Aromatic going on quince and mushroom. Texture Classic of PG. wow!!! — 8 years ago
Not a huge fan of pg but this one was amazing — 9 years ago
Hardly your average PG - weighty, minerally, biodynamic. — 10 years ago
Look out, evildoers! "Superman's Pal" has the scoop on a brand new AVA, Manton Valley, near Mount Lassen. This Chard is refreshing with pear and sweet apple flavors, a restrained splash of butter, and a touch more residual sugar than usual, like that of a PG. I enjoyed this with rotisserie chicken, fresh French brad and Brie cheese, and a Greek salad with feta, olives, and avocado. — 10 years ago
Fresh and crisp. Fruity, but not overwhelmingly so. Really nice, light white. — 10 years ago
Complex PG with good acidity. — 11 years ago
Rich, honeyed and layered with fruits. Don't recall a previous drinking of Alsatian PG but glad this one came our way. Pretty good stuff from young vines. — 11 years ago
Wow! Star bright, coppery straw in color. Big, bosomy nose of white flowers, golden apple, and white peach. All of this echoed in layers on the medium-full-bodied palate with medium acidity and a long, spiced apple finish. Not your grandmother’s PG. There’s some real substance and complexity here making this a great upscaling of everyone’s go-to white. Pasta with Alfredo sauce? Roasted chicken? Special occasion? Go here if you can’t get to Avondale! — 7 years ago
100% Pinot Blanc. All stainless. Drier than the PG. fresh and supple. — 8 years ago
Really enjoyed the PG very floral — 9 years ago
Theres a canned green vegetable note to this that threw me for a loop. More body and flavor than most PG from Oregon. A kiss of RS on the finish. My favorite — 9 years ago
Good! PG with a little character. — 10 years ago
Forget the color. Just drink it. Lush. Fleshy. An intense burst of flavor and texture similar to a skinned grape. I drank this chilled, but it would be fun to have this out of a dark glass at different temps. Mind F*ck. This is good. — 10 years ago
Complex PG showing a structured terroir side of flint while exhibiting its lighter side in classic Apple, pear and straw notes. I'm very interested in this producer (2013 Collio blend is Tre Bicchieri). Look forward to seeing more from them. Should be on Somm lists. — 10 years ago
Nice spicy PG with a few years behind it. — 11 years ago
Very pretty with hint of melon. Excellent Pinot Gris as compared with other VA PG — 8 years ago
Visited Cristom for the first time a few weeks ago and loved everything about them. The location is so pretty, the tasting room (and its employees) so unassuming and welcoming, and stunning wines at reasonable price points. One of my new favorite Willamette Valley wineries. This PG is bright, hints of fresh pineapple on the nose, lovely acid and weight. — 8 years ago
Yum love PG — 9 years ago
PG and verduzzo blend. Savory nice mouth feel and good length. — 9 years ago
An interesting Rioja white made with rate varietal tempranillo blanco. Very little fruit or acidity. Deep as if it had been barrel aged. — 9 years ago
86% pG , 7% Chenin blanc, 4% sauv blanc, 3% Malvasia Bianca — 9 years ago
Rustic farmland at dusk on the nose. Full bodied with white flowers and creamy mineralogy. Quite the tasteful PG. — 10 years ago
This is what PG should taste like. Fantastic minerality and transparency with good mid palate weight and awesome finishing acidity. — 10 years ago
Very fresh and clean on the nose. More mouthfeel than usual from a PG. Lots of pears and red apple with will balanced minerality. Dry but not bone dry. Just enough acid at the end — 11 years ago
Unique Australian PG. Could be mistaken for Pinot Noir Rose. Candied red fruits and spice, amazing texture. Partnered with BBQ terrifically — 11 years ago

Yum yum yum! Such a nice and different PG than you see in Italy or New World. Aromas of honey suckle and mountain spring, with an orange blossom and ripe berry finish. — 7 years ago
