Sipping wine with a wonderful aroma
Drank as part of the SortedFood wine tasting — 9 months ago
A blend of 90% Sauv Blanc and 10% Semillon. Pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, floral, wet stone and tropical fruit. On the palate rich fruits of mango and peach flavors with citrus zest and earthy mineral notes on a balanced structure with lively fresh acidity. Long finish, pleasant ending with pronounced mineral character. Leave this in the cellar for a few years. Nice. Tasting Sample. — 2 years ago

A great easy drinking favorite it makes a great tapas with friends. It's never a choice when it's a choice. — 10 years ago
Very good Barossa Semillon. Giving the Hunter a run for its money. Lighter style with good acid and no flab. Enough structure not to need SB. I suspect its best years are still to come. — 11 years ago
Amazing aged Riesling - this bottle turned out better than the last. Stewed and bruised golden apples, still-kicking acid, almond/caramel type nuttiness. Held up well with time! — 6 months ago
Amazingly acidic, great body. Like an apple jolly rancher — 3 years ago
25 year anniversary of this wine. I have been a Peter Franus fan for a long time. This zin is medium ruby, black and white pepper, clove, cedar, red cherry, vanilla on the nose--the wood is definitely pushing through, but not overpowering. On the palate, more blue/black fruit emerges, blackberry mainly. Tannins still pretty dry, alcohol high. I think this can rest even longer but it's great now too. Awesome!!!

Too harsh after opening; leather and dark olives. Next day cleared! Cherries and plums in balance with light oak. — 8 years ago
2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago
