Tropical jam, elderflower, a couple of bubbles. Makes one dance and flail and trip and slip and laugh. This is Cinderella wine - you feel like an elegant princess even though you showed up in a pumpkin and ran around with only one shoe on and you talk to mice. — 7 years ago
The 2015, the other half of the night's comparison. Less subtle, more floral. Jasmine, rose petal, honey. All powerful, but all a bit separate and distinct. I think this could lie down for a good while. Will be pleased to try another bottle in a few years. — 8 years ago

Both really bright and really deep. Black currant, black raspberry followed by a hit of red currant and red raspberry. About an hour of decant until it was really hitting its stride. — 8 years ago

Blackberries, black cherries, cloves, and nutragrain bar on the nose. The mouth is surprisingly sweet with flavors of red apple, raspberry, and white pepper. Low acid, low tannins, medium body. This wine would be great way to introduce someone who drinks mostly whites to the joy of reds. — 10 years ago
