Fanny Adams Flash Bomb Kokur Riesling 2017

Пиво, карамель, ананас. Чуть сладковато. Все чисто и правильно и в принципе интересно. Если бы не цена. Но надо сказать, как в кричалке, в России нет ещё пока винодела луче Павла Швеца. — 8 years ago

Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2011

Has a fresh and modern take; light on it's feet. Hot toast with a maple syrup nose. Bright fruit with a youthfulness side displaying cherry, dried dark fruits and binder tobacco leaf. Polished tannins paired well with the acidity. Supple finish, that lingers. Good to the last drop. — 9 years ago

A cake like element here as well. Extremely complex.

Upon second day evaluation and research i see this wine has american oak. This explains the new smell. That tomato element was new to me. Upon further investigation i realized this was a roasted or even sun dried tomato smell. This is associated with the oak. Very cool wine, this makes me want to sample other american oaked shiraz.

Gunslingers Barossa Valley Shiraz 2004

Big Ozzie Shiraz. All of the notes of this symphony push the boundary--ample black currant, pepper and cherry, high alcohol and noticeable oak with vanilla on the back end. Somehow it all works together and makes a fairly powerful wine. — 11 years ago
