Palate has plum and blackberry, tremendous backbone of white pepper, earth with crunchy minerality, medium bodied and gentle but snappy tannins.

Slightly darker and more brooding than the Chambolle, yet not quite as enchanting. Red and black berry fruit, black cherry, leather and dark spice. Lots of rich composty earth and forest floor.
