Blind # 1 of the day. I called Beaujolais, Morgon. Pretty pleased to get so close! very tasty: floral- violet, some tart cranberry, tiny red berries, hot money (nickels and bills). Big like. — 9 years ago
Had it with the winemaker: a vehement and honest French ex-pat who sources grapes from a couple of plots in the much-lauded Alto Cachapoal. Without touching the acidity or manipulating the alcohol, Machalí is elegant and poised, having precise aromas and complexity, but miles away from that über-common chocolate. — 10 years ago
Pat and I both loved this Cabernet Sauvignin. Good complexity and layers of tobacco and spice and earthiness. — 10 years ago

This was outstanding... Same dirt that produces Petrus... A Higgs find... Colonel approves... Kenny thinking lower left quandary... Man-Gary & Pat concur... — 9 years ago
Very dark fruit forward smell, bold dry forward and smooth finish that lingers... heavy, dark, dry 🍷😊 — 9 years ago
On a roll with me down under buddies. Y'all know how I feel about Pat Sullivan. Like a juicy clementine being rubbed into yer gums. Magic. I've got to go on to a tasting sesh after this with Tutto and Gergovie; already in no fit state. Updates coming up. — 9 years ago
At bills - great fruity, syrupy dark red drop. — 10 years ago

Ļoti izteikts saldens svaigi ceptas maizes garozas aromāts, garšā mazliet rūgtens, viens pats pat labāks, nekā kopā ar suši. Vērts atkārtot (laikam no Sky). — 12 years ago
Haven't had prisoner in a while finally amazing love it! Nothing better then the prisoner and Waterford crystal glass and the Buffalo Bills win ( had to throw that in) what an amazing 🍷 big body long finish great big flavor and jammy sharp tannins, a little juicy and definitely a favorite again! — 9 years ago
Whole wheat bread, honey tea, gold dust, ant nests, old currency and simultaneously... fresh rag paper. Weird dichotomy, like crisp bills in a bank envelope, handled by a warthog-woman. You can almost smell the feral collagen, but then: yeast cells, rice paper, dinner rolls, linen, match stick, and sweet, soft leather. She wears a fringe jacket and dates a Haüptling! Freezing my ass off in NYC and back at Cipriani... How many $20 bills have I palmed Fabio over the years, but he parts at least 50 people to give me the best table in the house... This Moses parting this human Red Sea greets me with two kisses and a welcome Mr. Peter... Love this guy... Anyway, Scott & Deb, two of my oldest clients join me... Deb looks exactly the way she looked 20 years ago and Scott looks great... This wine; AIA!!! Velvety, rich, dark, seductive... It's a beautiful woman in a glass... Ornellaia and Sassicaia... Two of my favorites... Still young, but oh so drinkable... — 10 years ago
