Tart cherry, burnt wood, leather. Pasquale is okay so far @Reed Boehringer — 9 years ago
Wish I could have tasted that over the course of 2-3 hours. It was dark, dry, and brooding. A witch over the kettle. Perhaps it is tasting better now, but sadly the bottle she is empty. — 9 years ago
Pear and citrus on the nose. Pale green. Tangy, bit spicy. Dry lingering finish. Pasquale 2011 Hakataranea Valley NZ. North Otago — 10 years ago
Dark crimson red with pretty brilliancy, very dark blood-like. The elegance in this wine continues with its nose. Impressive bouquet of exotic aromas. Fine leather with plum scented shoe polish; all in appealing taste and harmony. Great length provides a long ride, ride from its sensational entrance, offering flavors of sour cherries. The long tannins offer a very polished experience; quite mature. Its acidity is also persistant, educated but mouth-watering, with clear plum flavor. Lots of plums slowly transform into flavors of milk chocolate, spices, and fine tobacco, providing incredible complexity and a long and delicious finish. Quite an amazing and sensational wine of long, elegant performance and complexity. 93 pts. — 11 years ago
A very special wine given to me by my Italian mum for Easter, bold all around with an intense flavor but without too much perfume. As a gift not sure how much it costs but I hear its a nice one ;) — 12 years ago

Herbal and floral notes. Melon on the palate. Bright tropical fruits. Wrapped in a creamy mouthfeel, hints a barrel fermentation. — 8 years ago
Shining at Pasquale. More fruit and less funk than typical bachelet but it's much appreciated — 9 years ago
Slightly sweet but refreshing nonetheless! Perfect for pasta or a nice tangy salad! — 9 years ago

This vintage is darker and more concentrated than in the past, and at 14,5%, this is not your standard rose'. Raspberry, strawberry, an overall smoky/earthy feel, and minimal funk for a natural wine. A touch of sweetness shows up on the finish. Consistently good, year after year. — 8 years ago
