I'm not sure why there are some low scores for this wine. Quite frankly it is one of the best QPR cabs on the market. Great structure and the fruit shines. Let it open for an hour and it is luscious Paso fruit perfect with some grilled steak. — 9 years ago
Nice blend of Cab., Cab. Franc and Merlot. Deep dark red wine with an inviting nose, mild tannins and velvet finish. Paired with a Cornish game hen , rice and salad. — 2 months ago

Aromatic, floral, and a bit oily. Surprising minerality and notes of pineapple, lemon, and cantaloupe give this blend a fine structure and creamy finish. — 2 years ago
The less good Turley...metallic edge to it — 8 years ago
Always a good bet — 10 years ago
Strong QPR, fascinated study to see an entry level offering from Tablas Creek aged 13 years. Time has taken the fruit farther back from the palate, featuring meaty and stewed fruit up front, sweet tobacco mid-palate and vanishing tannins on the finish. #pasorobles — 3 months ago
Tastes even better the second day. Dark fruit and blackberry. Soft and slightly velcro tannins. Good now but will be even better in 5 years. — 4 months ago
Great 2022 blend — 4 months ago
May have waited a little too long for the 2010, but still nice. Label has seen better days as well! — 6 months ago
Holy shot this wine is good. Full body dark fruit on the nose and palate. Intense long lasting delicious. Love it. Want more. Thanks Wendy! — 7 months ago

Excellent Cab for the price! — 9 years ago
This a big boy no holds bard Syrah dominated blend from JS. What blows me away about this very talented young super star winemaker is he truly adapts his wine making style to the vintage. Each year is unique with its own optimized signature. This wine is a big brooding effort in which dark cherry, black plum and sweet tobacco dominate. There are cloves and cinnamon on the long drawn out finish. The tannins are formidable and this will benefit from another couple years in the bottle. Give it at least an hour in the decanter if u drink it now. This wine continues to evolve in my glass. Such a talented wine maker, I'm sorry I just discovered this producer only recently. His 2007 James berry vineyard is the only wine I have ever tasted that I consider perfection. — 10 years ago

From White Horse Wine and Sprits. Fun cork lol! Leather, sour cherry jam, woody, fizzy. Wow like literally every grape is in here lol 🤔 — 2 months ago
