Picked this up from the St. Paul Greek Festival 2017. Nose of licorice and blackberries with flavors of blueberry, pepper, vanilla. A mellow, but highly enjoyable Syrah. My only regret was not getting a few more bottles!! — 8 years ago

Lovely dense, lush, mosaic layered oak aged Malagouzia.
Starts with yellow apple-like color.
Nose at first a bit shy, but being aerated well shows apricot, vanilla, pear, white raspberry, alstroemerias, melon. Whiff of caramel and orange.
Nearly full bodied oily palate, very rounded. Just right acidity. White currant, apricot, green gooseberry, sweetie, carambola, butter.
Sluggishly dissolving nuances of white currant, wild apple, white cherry.
Lovely pair to grilled swordfish with olive-lemon sauce. — 9 years ago
An uncharacteristically delicate riff on Retsina, this wine featured only a subtle nod to the resinated flavor that can dominate lesser examples. This dry, light-bodied wine featured subtle elements of elderberry, rose water, quince and Meyer lemon. Paired perfectly with dolmas. — 10 years ago

Had this at the Attica Hotel. — 11 years ago
Warm, vanilla. A cozy blanket of a Pinot. A chameleon, it worked with BBQ Rooster over pasta, lamb, rabbit in lemon an tarragon AND a whole grilled Dorado. And yet, the whole meal all I can think of is how good my chocolate dessert will pair. Save that last sip… — 11 years ago

Look out Kim Crawford, this wine from Parnassus has the fruit and the acid to rival any Marlborough Sauv Blanc. At half the price. — 11 years ago

Super floral and fragrant nose, like a bouquet of white flowers, lilies. The taste is more dry, stone fruits, not as much acidity — 7 years ago

Beautiful, fresh. We had it from the starters to the mains - it paired beautifully with each course; each brought out different notes. Such a versatile wine. — 10 years ago
