Wonderful cherry crumble, plum, and oaked vanilla. Nice notes of undergrowth to balance things out making sure things aren't too fruity cherry sweet. Nice mouth feel, a bit light / medium bodied and lacking some tannins. Overall, very enjoyable — 8 years ago
I really think the fruit is reduced this year. Still very smooth but not getting the raspberry and prune up front, only faint black cherry and then into tannins and black olive. Very fine grained tannins. Definitely changing from previous years. Closing down? Will have to check back in 2018. — 9 years ago

Right bank red. 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc, 10% cab sauv. A different fruit than the endless napa cabs we drink. Bright red fruits, but that big dose of cab franc drives richness. Showing no secondary development at this stage and a couple hour decant is recommended. — 8 years ago

Blind, I would have said this was a modern BDX. A touch brambly and dark with lifting acidity. What a surprise. A true delight with a porcini dusted porterhouse. Yum! — 11 years ago

A good wine but not excellent. The texture is just too soft. Needs a stronger acid backbone. Otherwise, the fruit flavors are nicely accented with cut flowers on the nose, and slightly spiced on the palate. — 7 years ago
