My padre made botrytis wines only in the years that we had natural noble-rot...this wine was awesome... Apricot fruit and leaf on the nose and pallet along with dried honey all day. The color was dark and not golden like many Sauterne wines but that did not detract from the beauty of the wine... More sulfur and the wine would still be golden but I would rather have off color than a bunch of SO2 to keep the wine gold... Just saying — 12 years ago
