Delicious and cheap! $16 at TW — 13 years ago
Very tasty. Sweet roses, vanilla, baked bread, and very ripe red fruit. I’d drink this daily...as long as it pairs well to food. I’m curious how this will develop with age. — 5 years ago

Pinot from France. Earthy, light and delicious. — 7 years ago
Smell like lemon and fermenting pizza dough. Peach, pineapple, cream and a dry, persistent finish. This has weight and length. Really good for the price — 8 years ago

Lovely Pommard, balanced & elegant, dusty red berry fruit, fine tannins, great to see a Pommard approachable when young. — 9 years ago
Peppery and chalky. Dark cherry and medium tannins. Much better after it opens up and the fruit comes forward. — 10 years ago
Rustic and complex, super good . — 11 years ago

2020/8/25 with pork and crab gumbo. Forest floor and mushroom notes but also bright red berry fruit and lively acidity, simultaneously light and substantial. De Villaine is always, always lovely, and this bottle also reminded how well good Chalonnaise wine can age. — 5 years ago
