Brambly fruit, exotic spice and stemmy herbaceous additions, this complex, fresh and seriously structured and youthfully unevolved red is clearly built for the long run. Strong sense of oak, butter, cream. Very weak fruit aroma but hint of golden apricot on the nose. Med p body, med p acid, med p intensity, round, long,complex finish with lime, hint of butter and structure finish. Drunk with escargot, lillet. Structured, food wine.
