No oak. What the fuck?! Waxy, oaky (if possible), almost nutty. Sublime. — 7 years ago
Waxy, wet stone; bright citrus, pear and marzipan. Medium full in the mouth. Fresh and lively. — 8 years ago

Another quality find from the Bounty Hunter. Smoke, rocks, dark cherries and a whole lot of Cabernet goodness. — 6 years ago
An amazing full body on this one. Great balance and acidity. Stong aromas...notes of green peppercorn, candied plum, and a satisfying rasberry taste. Lots of gentle vanilla show a careful amount of oak influence. Great Chilean Carmenere! — 7 years ago
A lovely pale pink color. Nose has light berry/citrus/floral qualities. Palate is well balanced, light mineral, orange peel/rind with a Clementine-like finish that just continues... So good and in a nice spot today, from 1500ml, impressive bottle design, it's a standout. — 8 years ago
Absolutely delicious.
Taste: smooth, iron-rich soil, spice-filled, strong earthiness on the back end.

Subtle lime & stoney fruit, a strong mid palate & some complexity (& from what I read the potential for aging) 10.5% alcohol, a lovely slight effervescence completely blows away my negative biases @ Australian wines. I though at firstThat 20$ was a tad pricey-& thats 20$ on sale, but after i finished the bottle, its a bargain. — 7 years ago
Outstanding mid aged Hunter Semillon. Extremes fresh, crisp and very, very good. Great life. - Phil Laffer — 8 years ago
Youthful and vibrant. Fresh black currant, mint, gravelly earthy notes, quite Margaux/Graves like. Smoky cedar, tobacco and dust. Medium bodied, with grainy tannin, good vibrant acid. Quite elegant for Chile! — 10 years ago

Very surprised when I opened the wine list. My inner geek took over when I saw it was the same wine I consumed last week but a different vintage. A much less open and complex nose than the’11.
In the mouth this wine demonstrated greater freshness than the ‘11. Grapefruit like acidity put the fruit flavors at the forefront. Once again I was a little disappointed with the finish but I think in this case the wine truly needs time to unwind. — 6 years ago
