Always a favorite, and the 2013 does not disappoint! — 9 years ago
This Cab is from the Oldest Cab Sauv planting in Washington state. Planted in 1952 near Grandview. It's not bad now but, unfortunately past its prime slightly. I feel this was most likely due to pH or TA adjustments to the fruit at the time of making. Plenty of fruit left and great aromatics but the palate is a bit muddled by age. — 10 years ago

Tree Kilpatrick
Nice aroma. Cherry syrup and toasted nuts. Pretty lush and ripe. Floral.
Had the 2014. Rusty red. Smells like fancy soap and red berry fruits. Bit of sagebrush. Dramatic flavors. Old medicinal tonics and cherry pits. Tar, very dark chocolate, tobacco/tomato leaves and cedar wood. This is a unique, full flavored, tasty red. I’d never guess Merlot, but it sure is a fun wine to sip & ponder. — 8 years ago
