This can easily go up in score, pretty young but did great over 5 days tapped twice with a coravjn and then cork pull the last day.

Outside of the OG Ferrando, and there is not much else bottled here outside of them and Produttori, outstanding first try of this one. — 2 years ago

Beautiful wine. Just starting to amber in the glass. Very nice white fruit and flowers on the nose. Finish lacks just a bit of acid which keeps this from being even better. But still a delicious wine, especially paired alongside some simple Dover sole meunière and an asparagus torte for our 5 year anniversary. — 5 years ago

Delightful reasonably priced Brunello for the quality. Impressive nose on opening with non—aggressive raspberry strawberry cherry mild spice and mild undergrowth. The palate is fruit forward with the same fruit and spice profiles with soft tannins extending the finish for a while. Not sure it will cellar well but it’s at a peak now with little air needed. — 4 months ago

Quite special. Brambly, but not rustic. Elegant, but not polished. Bright and dark red fruits. Depth and length, but balanced weight. Magically expresses all of Nielluccio’a elements. Approachable now and has the structure for ongoing aging. — 4 years ago

Hope family began their planting’s in 1978 & sold wine under the Hope Family label directly from winery's tasting room. In 1990 the Hope ranches became the sole source of fruit for Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1996, they founded Treana Winery. Blend of 75% Cab Sauv & 25% Syrah. Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet berry & spice notes. On the palate flavors of currants and ripe berry with cacao, pepper and vanilla spice. Full body, rich tannins, good balance ending on the spicy side, better after decant. — 5 years ago

Had friends over for lunch on Saturday and had a match off with this 1997 Dominus with a 1997 Wynns John Riddoch - both from magnum. This Dominus I first tried at TriBeCa Grill in New York about 8 years ago and it was a wow wine for me. In fact the best Cabernet I had ever had outside of Bordeaux. No detailed notes but this was more savoury and less fruit driven than I remember. The consensus around the table was in favour of the Riddoch with me as the sole vote for the Dominus.
