Not a Bourbon guy, but this was ridiculously good. Single barrel Blanton's. They don't cut this before bottling, so you end up with a 128 proof smack to the face that carries cinnamon, burnt caramel, and cream. It's almost viscous, coating your mouth. Weyerbacher Tiny 11.8% Belgian style imperial stout. 2012 drank 2015 on a cold Thanksgiving night. Light enough in the mouth to think of as a porter. But dark and bitter, high octane vanillin whiskey barrel roast on the palate and completely black opaque in the light. Port colored at the edge — 9 years ago
