Gorgeous aromas here; melting licorice, ripe cherries, Swiss dark chocolates and tell-tale herbacious twist. On the palate, truly sexy fruit, lush and round, with sweet tannins and lowish acidity. This Shiraz will heat you up from the cold today at 14.5% abv. Nice oaking, moderate tannins, and significant structure. The fruit is ripe with raspberries, cassis, and currant. However I do prefer Oliver's Shiraz Reserve more. — 11 years ago
