I think Olga would like this wine — 7 years ago
Has more of an elegant feel than a Raffault, which always seem to have more power but also always in transition( since i cant afford library releases). Still tho, some barnyard on nose, lets say Conn. Farmer version, rather sleek polished fruit. Chinon version of tannins=low. An honest, enjoyable bottle — 8 years ago
Yum! I love the rose season. This is a clean, crisp rose... I would drink it anytime from April thru September. It reminds us of our trip thru the Loire Valley. — 8 years ago
Typical herbaceousness of the vintage, it was one of the easiest to spot blind. Reminds me of a very good Loire CF, perhaps the 1985 Olga Raffault Les Picasses. — 9 years ago
Love this! Great job Barnaby and Olga! — 9 years ago
There is a peculiar beauty to Olga & Barnaby's wines. peculiar not because they are weird, they are elegant, aromatic, balanced. Peculiar in that there is a magic to them beyond what one might expect. Always just so damn delightfully lovely. — 10 years ago
its chinon and a baked potato for the windy blustery ides of march, that's dinner since my boo is away and all there's to do is watch game of thrones and work harder and sleep deep dreams that you can only have when you sleep alone. I really enjoy this but lately everything tastes light and characterless. maybe I'm just not listening enough — 11 years ago

16,5+/20 — 7 years ago

Very rarely does a cab franc stand out to me, but this one sure did. More refinement than most and an effusive nose. — 7 years ago
Really good wine. Olga and I loved it — 8 years ago

Possible wedding wine? Brambly juicy medium bodied red with flavors of resin, pine and anise- pair with Raki? :)

I love Brunello from Favorito Donna Olga — 11 years ago
Pretty funky upon opening. Horsey like a Raffault. But there is a sense of big cherry fruit lurking. Very floral as well. Some combo there of fresh flowers and horseshit. After 30-45 minutes the shit is gone and it’s all violets, earth and cherries. Awesome. Morel is magic. Palate is deep, raw like only Morel can be, with terrific freshness and acidity and a lovely rusticity. St Aubin Rouge are not the most elegant Burgundies but they have so much more than elegance. This wine is long. Really long. It’s a crazy wine that I think with 3-4 more years will really show well. This is like a young version of the 08. — 7 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is A 2014 Seven and Baby Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from Teutonic Wine Company.
Very limited production from Barnaby and Olga at #Teutonic. I can't find much written about it, but I know the fruit is from the Laurel vineyard and I think this was an effort at extraction in Teutonic's high and dry style. Blooming aromas of hibiscus, violet, red licorice and cherry-cola aromas. Vibrant flavors, almost like Beaujolais, with pomegranate, sour cherry and tart raspberries coming to the front. Pleasant grip and lingering zippy finish. Really 👍🏽. — 7 years ago
I really, really am enchanted; nervy tension, luscious fruit, give it 15 minutes as starts out disjointed . Not bretty or funkified in the Raffault mold. High toned but enough of a growl to make it much more than a table wine. Johnnes selection, unsurprisingly. — 7 years ago
Another beautiful SB from the Keever Family and Celia Welch.
I've been a fan of this winery from day one and highly recommend people checking it out on a visit to Napa.
The wines are fantastic and the owners Bill and Olga (together with their children Jason and Ashley) are just some of the nicest folks in town. — 8 years ago
Had the 2011 millesime Olga — 8 years ago
In a great spot right now.
At 14.9% alc. according to the label I had my concerns but this is actually balanced.
Kudos to Celia Welch for another great wine.
(If I could give an extra point it would be because of the owners. You have to look hard for a nicer couple in the valley than Bill & Olga Keever).
