Beautiful straw color in the glass with a tantalizing nose that pulls you right in. Lemon zest, brioche and honey on the nose. The mouthfeel and palate are incredible and reminiscent of a Côte de Beaune white Burgundy. I get citrus notes upfront with a great depth of flavors including butterscotch, toasted almonds, and a touch of brioche. The same amazing quality you'd expect from Pahlmeyer wines continues in their offshoot Wayfarer. Merry Christmas everyone! — 7 years ago

Founded in 1996, Ca'Marcanda is an offshoot project of GAJA. That being the case, my expectations were high—I was not disappointed. The 2000 opens with sumptuous aromas of violets, saddle leather, dust, cherry and red currant. Poised and elegantly textured, fine, velvety tannins encase a core of pure fruit. This sensational Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cab Franc blend is just beautiful now. Finishes with notes of bouquet garni, sweet tobacco and baking spice. — 10 years ago

Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon am offshoot of reynvanne all walla walle fruit . A good bit if barnyard fresh earth and that animal game like note light smoke to the plum and cherry fruit.
